Vancouver Police Cttee wanted to cease operations of a Chinese Club at 237% £kh£ Powell because they operated fan-tan, etc. Chinse comminity in Calgary helped to raise expansion fund for the Youth Club (white man's). 5 men went fund collecting on Oct. 17, and over $2000 was raised.
