The Chee Kong Tong in Calgary also celebrated the occasion on Sept. 8th. September 12th, Wednesday, P.2 P-qt $£^ y^_ the Director of the 7^~ l*j reading room had also sent a letter to the Peking government to attack Ambassador Lim on January 7th. A letter was thus sent to criticize $& ;j£^ /^ of causing trouble and making ridicule. * fo %7I (the President) and 5\ S&- f $ (Secretary) / \ \ * 2. were the last year executives of the ^ ^j TS? They were accused of mortgaging the building of the association to a Canadian bank. The association tried to hold a hearing to investigate the case. However, the 2 persons refused to come and eventually, the secretary promised to pay the debt in 6 months. When the time came, he wanted to take refuge and avoid the debt. (The present president was also accused of helping the secretary to avoid paying the debt.
