The pamphlet may have been written by Dr. Alexander Jardine Hunter (1868-1940). He was a medical missionary who set up the first hospital in Teulon, Manitoba, in the early 1900's. Further information about Dr. Hunterâs work can be found in his book "A Friendly Adventure - The story of the United Church Mission among New Canadians at Teulon, Manitoba", published in 1929.
