Anno regni Georgii III. regis Magnæ Britanniæ, Franciæ & Hiberniæ, vicesimo quo : at the Parliament begun and holden at Westminster, the eighteenth day of May, Anno Domini 1784, in the twenty-fourth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third, by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c., and from thence continued, by several prorogations, to the twenty-fifth day of January, 1785, being the second session of the sixteenth Parliament of Great Britain.

Six "commissioners to enquire into the losses and services" of loyalists were appointed for two years by the act 23 Geo. III, capitolo 80. The appointment is here renewed for one year and was subsequently renewed till 1789.
