Editorship attributed to Charles Fothergill--The story of the Upper Canadian rebellion / John Charles Dent (1885), volume 2, pages 14.
The narrative is dated Navy Island, U.C., 14th January, 1838, and addressed to the editor of the Watertown, N.Y. Jeffersonian. The narrative is annotated by a supporter of the government, Charles Fothergill, who adds, pages 21-23: Appendix, containing further particulars obtained from conversations with John Powell, Esquire, Mayor of the city of Toronto.
