Description: CBA -Vancouver - received complaints that many immigration applicants were delayed in H.K. due to the slowness in interviewing. The P.R. ( ) wrote a letter of protest to the Candian immigration officer in H.K. stating that in Sept. 1949, Foon Sien had protested and a special interviewer (Mr. Hawkin) had been sent to assist the interviewing. Thus the H.K. office should hurry up with the work.
