1) Yu Shan H.Q. - 10th General annual Party on Dec. 26. 2) Dart Coan Club - Vancouver - announced that the executive inauguration ceremony would be held on Dec. 1. 3) Liberal Party no. 4 district held a monthly meetingai Nov. 26. CBA - Foon Sien and many Chinese were present to discuss right^for Chinese, (cont'd) 4) V.B.C.^j^/^^ j^^^t— announced that the Japanese Club had held a speech day on the Chinese Civil War during which there was the talk that all Chinese in Vancouver did not want to support the Kugmingtang. Chinese publisher made a speech, and Dr. ^^^J^JM^ '^^loPing-Ti) was also against Chiang. 5) The police Department reported that in the past week, 52 white gamblers were arrested. It was the 1st time in years that the number of arrests of whites exceeded Chinese. 6) Freemason - Vernon - new executive were chosen on Nov. 27.
