Description

1) Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee asked the Chinese Consulate to post the regulations and procedures every student should take before he/she returned ta China for further education. 3 2) Vancouver Consulates Committee welcomed Chinese Consul on August 5 at Vancouver Hotel. (Ngai) was elected to be chairman of Consul Committee. 3) The Chinese Tax inspector warned all Chinese businessmen to fill in social security tax registration forms before Sept. 1; otherwise their businesses would be closed down. 4) CBA - exit fee collections. 5) Jung Wah baseball - matches. 6) Freemason - Halifax - the Divisional H.Q. delegates as well as 13th general convention fund raising agent^^^ was in Halifax on June 31 - description of his visit. 7) Freemason - London - farewell party would be held on August 1.
