1) Freemason - Victoria - an article commenting on the picnic on June 20. 2) Dai Kong Charity School - prepared the picnic on June 28. All expenses were dependent on danations. 3) Canadian 1st United Church had a hospital at Kiang Man North Street called the for flood relief,yreceipt of famine relief fund of 1943, ^replacement for executives who were returning to China. 5) Ottawa News - 35,000 Chinese in Canada supported a brief sent to the Human Rights and Freedom Committee regarding cancellation of a law that only allowed Chinese (with Canadian citizenship) to bring in their wives. The brief was written by 16 Chinese organizations all over Canada. \~ ✓T-T Hospital. Now due to the proposal of expansion, the Chinese United Women's Association would hold a bazaar on June 23 to raise funds. ut^" cO 4) Hoysun H.Q. - Victoria - min of meeting on June 12 regarding donation.
