On April 21, Chinese in Vancouver Chinatown could start registering for otinj There would be 24 officers registering the total number of Chinese living in Chinatown. Australian newspaper Association had presented 1 male kangaroo to Toronto |emale ^eportoy Association last year. This year a female kangaroo was given to the newspaper Association. These 2 associations held a wedding party for the kangaroos. The Ching Wah Workers H.Q. in Vancouver felt that it was un-fair, since those 2 kangaroos could get reunion whereas Chinese not even allowed to bring wives and cLose relatives. Foan Sien immediately wrote wedding greeting as well as an appeal for assistance to Toronto, so that the newspaper reporters could sympathize with Chinese immigrants and extend help.
