Wong Pak Yuo, the delegate to the Kuo Man Conference thanked the Chinese communities in Canada for giving him a warm welcome during his official tour. He encouraged all Chinese and Chinese organizations to come to him for matter regarding negotiation with the Chinese government. Man Keong School - thanked the donors for donations for opening of new school. Sam Duck Book Club - farewell for members on Oct. 26. Donation list for funds which were raised for the club to move to the new address. A Chinese , orgnizar was charged and put in prison for 15 days, and given $100 fine. Freemason Victoria - commemoration day for on Oct. 22. Sam Duck Book Club - invitition to Chee Duck Tong, Sam Duck H.Q., branches and Oylin Association for opening ceremony of the new address (Nov. 16/47).
