- 1) Freemason Havana - 23-25th meetings - discussion re sending reps, back to China. of Canada was chosen to be one of the 5 delegates to go back to China for promotion of associational activities. 2) Van. Community Chest Support - donation list. 3) Lung Kong Rung Shaw - on Oct. 13, welcomed 3 delegates from China who had attended the Chung Kuo Kuomingtang 11th general convention. 4) Kwan Lung Cee H.Q. Van. - farewell for one of the executives from Toronto branch who was in Van. enroute to China. 5) The Chinese who was charged with hiding inside a tea b ox on Prior Street was found to be innocent. He only was taking a nap when the police arrested him. 6) Chinese Embassy Ottawa - celebrted double 10 day by holding a tea party. 7) Victoria news - the 1st Chinese/join the Canadian Air Force was He joined the force in 1942 and due to his service, he was awarded a silver medal by the French government. 8) CPS New Westminster - organized the double 10 day celebration on Oct. 12. 9) 12 Chinese gamblers were arrested in Richmond. 10) Freemason Lethbridge - thanked the H.Q. for raising funds for an old member to return to China.
