Description: Freemason Central Cttee in China announced that the cttee meeting in October had to be postponed due to the general convention in Cuba. A Chinese who recently returned from H.K. stated that the Custom officers were very strict in checking all incoming goods. He advised the returning Chinese not to bring in valuables and excessive things. - a famous painter from China would be giving an exhibition. Freemason Port Alberni - welcome , a cttee member of the Freemason party. Kuomingtang also sent reps, to the party on Sept. 12. A similar welcoming party was held on Sept. 13 in Nanaimo.
