Freemason Divisional H.Q. Van. - meeting on June 28th. Freemson Van. Branch - commemoration ceremony for day on July 1. CBA - received invitation from PNE to participate in parade. CBA urged Chinese organizations to take part in the procession on August 25th. Wong Kong Har Tong Van. - gave awards to daughter of Foon Sien and the son of who both got degrees at UBC. The award ceremony was held on June 26. CPS Van. - donors for the picnic. Overseas Chinese Educational Ass'n - Canadian branch in Van. - farewell party on June 22 at CBA for and a few members from the Toronto Chinese School. At the same time, an executive meeting was held to discuss the associati affairs. A delegate would be sent to inspect the educational system in China. A new Chinese butchers was opened - named.
