Chinese Chamber of Commerce - - sent a letter re immigration to the Chinese Legislative Team - , so that negotiation with the Canadian government could be made and appeal could be sent to the Chinese government. - the kindergarten closed at June 25th. 14 graduates. CPS Van. - 8th graduation ceremony on June 25th. Man Keong School - school closing ceremony on June 27; picnic on June 29. The expenses and food for the picnic were mostly donated. Chung Shan Locality members - - welcoming banquet for the Chinese Legislative Team on June 25th. Chung Wah Overseas Students Ass'n - was formed by the students in Nanaimo. There were 9 directors; funds raised for operational expenses.
