Strathcona - U.B.C. was conducting a survey about housing conditions in Strathcona by social workers and students.Aifeas of the survey: how to maintain and improve the area; (b) to investigate which type of housing suited the area. It was decided that houses would not be torn down or bought unless there was an alternate good housing solution for the residents.
