Freemason Van. - called a meeting on May 22nd. Kai-ping H.Q. - previously asked for protection from bandits in the Kai-district; a reply was now sent back to guarantee full protection for the 4 districts. 43 Restrictive Immigration Law Abolishment Cttee - called a meeting on May 21 at Hoysun Assoc. Chung Shawn Lung Chung Locality Assoc. - the charity division visited the patients at St. Joseph Hospital on May 18. On May 24, there would be a 5th anniversary celebration. Mah Kam Chee H.Q. - 27th anniversary celebration as well as hanging new-sign ceremony on May 24th. After the 2nd Trans-Canada General convention , it was decided to promote better relationship with the Mah Clans in the States. Thus the H.Q. changed the name to "Canada-America Mah's H.Q.". Ho Lin - funeral was held by the Vegetable Seller's Assoc. and the Ching Won Musical Club. Freemason Vernon - commemorated on May 11th.
