Description
The Freemason H.Q. in the States sent a letter to the divisional H.Q. in Canada about the 2nd Trans-Continent General Convetion to be held in Aug. at Havana. The 2nd Trans-Continent General Convention Preparation Cttee in Cuba sent a letter to the divisional H.Q. in Canada urgrfing them to send 4 delegates. Consul General Lai Van. - announced the land registry procedure in Kwong Chow. Kai-ping H.Q. Van. - had once requested the Nan King Overseas Chinese Affairs Cttee and the Kwongtung military department to protect the Kai-ping district from bandits. Now a reply was sent back stating protection would be given. Yu Fong Toy Tong Van. - farewell party on May 12th. Chinese Trade Workers Ass'n (Chung Wah Workers' Assoc.) 143% Pender - 5th anniversary on June 8th. Mah Kam Chee Tong H.Q. Van. - sign hanging ceremony on May 24th.
