- A Lew member would return to China on May 16. All his financial matters would be handled by the Dart Coon Club in Vernon. He also thanked the Freemasons and Dart Coon Club in Vernon, Van. Dart Coon Club, Freemason, Kong Chow Ass'n., Shar Dou Assoc. for giving his farewell parties and gifts. thanked the Assoc. in Vancouver for giving him farewell and gifts. Soong Wah was leaving for China, he thanked the Shar Day Assoc. for giving him farewell party. 3 May members were returning to China. They thanked the H.Q. in Van. and the branch in Calgary for giving him farewell. Ching Wah Workers - farewell party on May 11. Lung Kong Assoc. - farewell patty on May 11. Mah Kam Chee H.Q. - farewell party on May 11. Freemason Prince Rupert - arranged a funeral party for an old member ( Luen Sing Club Victoria - had been established for more than 10 years for Chinese to read, sing and play musical instruments. Due to the leaving of members for China, the club decided to close down. They donated the credit, ($22) and $50 worth of National Salvation tickets to Chung Wah Hospital. C hinese United Church - Winnipeg; was building anew church; and a meeting had been held on Mav 4th.
