- An article commenting on the organization and ideology of Freemason. Freemason Divisional H.Q., Branch, Dart Coon Club, Chinese Times Van. - a farewell party on April 9 to bid good-bye to the delegates attending the general convention and those who were returning to China (+ April 10 P.3). Dong Are Shipping Co - - was hired as the Asiatic Agent of the new line running between Van. and Hong Kong Consul General Lai Van. - released the notice from the Chinese Treasury Dept. informing the limited amount of money that one could bring into China. Chee Duck H.Q. Van. - raised funds for buying realty. There was enthusiastic support from the members, even the Chee Duck and Sam Duck H.Q. of San Francisco donated $50. Others came from Medicine Hat. City Planning Department allowed a Chinese to use the old Japanese Church at 430 Cordova as a residence for 3 families. Chinese United Church - Moose Jaw; gathering was held on April 6. of Dong Are Hotel returned to China and set up an orphanage, however, she needed money for good maintenance. She asked for help from Chinese in Canada. Soon, there would be a fund drive for the orphanage. Freemason H.Q. in the States announced on April 1 that the next trans-American Continent Convention would be on August 10, at Havana, Cuba. Every divisional H.Q. should send 2 to 4 delegates;travelling expenses should be paid by the divisional H.Q. while accommodations at Havana would be paid by the convention. Each divisional Head should raise General Convention fees for travelling expenses of delegates.
