- The Freemason Head Quarter would hold a general meeting on April 5 at Van., re the 13th general convention. Consul General Lai of Van. received a letter from the police department which warned the Chinese against taking large amounts of money with them. The polic advised them to keep money in the banks. En Ping members raised funds for the cement bridge - a list of donations. Tot funds raised now were $1700 Canadian. - a well-known merchant and leader in Montreal died.
