1) Freemason - executive list; executive directors - 9 members. 2) Freemason Ottawa - executive list; executive directors - 9 members. 3) Freemason Athletic Club - a general meeting on March 9 to give farewell to executives. 4) - a merchant in Calgary returned to China and married. The newly weds had returned and they would hold a banquet on March 16 in Van. during which the bride would be introduced. 5) Sam Duck Book Room - 14th anniversary on March 16. 6) The New Canadian Ambassador to China - would be in Van. for 10 days; he wanted to promote better friendship and commercial relationship of China and Canada. 7) Victoria news - 15 March - the gambling business in Victoria seemed to be demolished after the police started investigation into gambling bribery. 8) Freemason Van. - thanked the donors who donated for the ceremony to hang up the new signboard on Jan. 1. A list of gifts and donations was posted.
