Freemason Calgary - announced on Feb. 22 that the opening ceremony of the 13th General convention would be on April 13. All consulates, parties, organizations, leaders and Freemason members were welcomed. Dart Coon H.Q. - 4 members thanked the association for giving them farewell. Dart Coon Club Duncan - another member also thanked the association in Duncan for giving him afarewell. Freemason Kamloops - executive list; executive directors - 9 members. Dart Coon Club - Van. - announced on March 10 that a general meeting would be held on March 15 to select representatives for the general convention. Restrictive Law Abolishment Assoc. announced that the welcoming banquet would be on March 16; admission tickets were sold in various Chinese stores for $3.50 per plate. Each Chinese association was requested to send one rep. Every Chinese store or association was requested to decorate the front. A list of ticket centers were posted (Place: New W.K. Gardens). CBA Van. - helped to raise funds in Chinatown on March 16. All Chinese were requested the Red Cross drive. Chinese-Canadian Citizen Society - together with Canada Club, and Van. Chamber of Commerce, it would organize a welcoming banquet for the Canadian Ambassador to China by March 20th. Consul General Lai of Van. - it was released from Victoria on March 12 that the Consul urged the police department to hurry to catch the murderer of and to give protection to the Chinese community.
