Kuomingtang - - was recently chosen to be the director of the Canton Correspondance center of the Kuomingtang in Canada ( ). He thanked all the associations which gave him farewell parties. He would be leaving on March 12. Dart Coon Club - an article which commented on the 8th anniversary which would be held on April 20 in Calgary. Victoria, Calgary, Van., Cumberland, Kamloops, Cranbrook, Winnipg, Nanaimo, Hamilton, Kelowna, Montreal, Lethbridge, Duncan, New Westminster, Toronto, Vernon, and Prince Rupert all had Dart Coon Clubs. Kai-ping H.Q. Van. - received an SOS better from H.Q. which stated unrest and attacks by bandits in the Kai-district. A request of protection for the locality members was immediately sent by the H.Q. to the overseas Chinese Affairs cttee in Peking, so that the military department would extend help. Lee Association Canada and branch in Van. - combined to celebrate the birthday of an ancestor ( ) on March 7th. Kuomingtang - the HO Clan members in Van. gave a welcoming party for ^° Churn Nam. The visitor of the New Republic Newspaper. the Student Ass'n of the Kwong Chee School ( school) invited Ho Churn Nam for a speech party on March 10. Be gave speeches about contemporary China. St. Joseph Hospital - a spokeman stated that 6 Chinese patients in the hospital needed the city to subsidize $45 monthly for Lee Association Victo ria - celebrated the Tai Chee Joe birthday as well as the 16th anniversary on March 11. Victoria news - the mayor asked the cheif to investigate bribery which was offered by the gambling joints to the anti-gambling squad. Freemason Medicine Hat - executive list; executive directors - 9 members.
