1) Shanghai news - Feb. 23. The custom office in Shanghai had put a restriction on u.s. dollars getting into China. Each incomer should not bring more than $100 U.S. 2) Freemason - Cross Cultural general convention - the opening day was postponed from April 6 to April 13. 3) - Consul General in Van. already contacted thepolice department re the case of . He also requested protection for the Chinese community. 4) En-ping and Kai-ping locality members - the members wanted to promote better communication between the 2 villages by setting up a bridge establishment fund raising cttee Donation books had already been distributed to members all over the continent. A list of donations was posted for reference. 5) Freemason H.Q. - donations received from Duncan for Restructuring Fee in China. 6) Canadian Aid to China: reported $3286.95 raised by students in B.C. There were other donations from Whitemen's companies, association and Chinese organizations. 7) Yue Shan H.Q. Van. - supported Canadian Aid to China by raising over %500. 8) Chung Wah Workers H.Q. Van. - spring festival on Feb. 23rd. 9) King Won Club ( ) - Winnipeg - 26th anniversary on Feb. 16th.
