— aeaa- The City Licence Department announced on Feb. 22 the/line for getting commercial ^licences on March 3. Dart Coon Club - executive list; President ; vice A Chinese vegetable hawker was beaten in Victoria and he died due to the injury. The Chinese community was furious and intended to .appeal to the Embassy in Ottawa for more efficient protection of Chinese. A Canadian born Chinese leader asserted that over the past 12 years, not a single Chinese murder case was solved. Victoria news on Feb. 20 - police depar tnent was quite enthusiastic in finding the murderer. Investigation was also done in Chinatown.
