1) Freemason donations for 1946 maintenance fees 2) CBA Van. - announced that no organization in China was allowed to raise funds from overseas Chinese without thepermission from the Canton Overseas Chinese Affairs Department ( ) because there were quite a lot of associations using the excuse of building schools on fostering production, and started collecting funds from overseas Chinese. Some even did not produce official accounts of funds raised. 3) Chinese-Canadian United Association for abolishing the 43 restrictive immigration law - Ottawa: In support of the activites, a banquet s£yle conference was held on the Justice Appeal Day on Jan. 26th. The mayor (deputy), 2 MP's and 16 large organizations also sent reps. Speeches were made to attack the defects of the immigration laws. 4) Canadian Aid to China - Winnipeg news: the Chinese Women's Assoc. supported the fund drive, they would hold a fikxix Charity bazaar on Feb. 22 to raise funds. 5) Yu Shan Cheung Han ( ) H.Q. Victoria - welcomed the new teacher for the Yu Shan School on February 2.
