- 1) Freemason H.Q. Kuomingtang H.Q. & Chinese War Relief Assoc. Van. - held a gneral meeting on Jan. 26 which they called the Justice Appeal Day ( ). Many sent representatives. Briefs were to be sent to: Chiang Kai-Shek, Canadian Prime Minister, Parliament, External Minister of Canada, Immigration Minister, the leader of the , and . 5 issues were settled: (1) set up 43 immigration law abolishment cttee to be represented by Chinese Assoc.s (2) structure; (3) immediate expenses - to be covered by Kuomingtang and later returned through fund raising; (4) fund raising - funds to be donated by different associations; (5) next meeting - Feb. 1 at CBA. 2) Freemason Nanaimo - the President , died. 3) Lim Cee Ho H.Q. Row Mock Ben. Assoc. - gave a farewell party to , who was the newly elected director of the Kuomingtang Correspondance center in Canton. At the same time, the executives for the realty development division were inaugurated and money and gifts were given to 4) Chan Wing Chwun H.Q. staff were inaugurated on January 26. 5) Chong Shan Lung Chung Locality Assoc. - Van. - spring festival on Jan. 26. 6) Canada Aid to China - a whiteman's club supported the fund raising by encouraging the 200 members to donate. 7) 14 Chinese gamblers were arrested. The chips and equipment were confiscated. 8) Lung Kong Kung Sore Van. - executive list; 15 executive directors. Lung Kong Kung Sore Realty Development division - President ; Vice 9) Freemason London Ontario - celebrated on Feb. 16, the 3rd anniversary after it had moved to the new address. 10) B.C. Indian Brotherhood Assoc. - wanted to fight for national franchise for the Indian minority group.
