Freemason Cross- Canada general (13th) Convention - would be held on March 30 in Calgary, which was the 5th __. All members in Calgary were requested to donate $1 general convention fee; members from other districts,$.50. If donations exceeded $5, photos would be hung in the hall. Ottawa news: if *as reported that parliament would amend the Chinese immigaation law and lessen the ban on Chinese immigration. Franchise - Victoria news: Jan. 22 - the Indians in B.C. were trying to gain national franchise. They said that they should be considered 1st before the government considered Chinese and E. Indians.
