1) CBA Van. - appealed to the Chinese Embassy on Dec. 31 re the 43 restrictive immigration laws. A reply came Jan. 3 stating that the Ambassador would try to help. 2) Immigration - the time limit for Chinese to be absent from Canada was 2 years, after the day of armistice; those who left during the last year of war, would have 3 years time. 3) Kuomingtang Vancouver - held a funeral ceremony for on January 15. 4) CBA Prince George - Executive acceptance ceremony on Dec. 30th. The origin of the association was for national salvation.
