January 4 CKT Freemason Divisional H.Q. and the branch in Van. united on Jan. 1, noon hour. Many Associations sent representatives. CKT Van. - on Dec. 31/46, the new executives assumed their posts. Chairman ; vice Royal Bank Chinese account section announced that starting on Jan. L, all overseas Chinese could only send $100 back to China. Kai-ping H.Q Vancouver - final election for posts - Dec. 29. Chung Wah Sing Drama Club - - new executives were elected on Dec 29/46 A general They would assume the positions on January 1. Overseas Chinese Hotel Association - Van. meeting had been hied Dec. 15. Final election had been held on Dec. 27. New executives would assume posts on Jan. 1 at 235 Powell Street. invited , a new-comer to Vancouver, for a talk on contemporary China on Jan. 5th. Dart Coon Club Montreal - final election on Dec. 22/46. President Vice Dart Coon Duncan - executive list; President ; Vice Man Keong School Vancouver - raised funds for extension as well as setting up 2nd school. Over $31,000 was raised in 3 months. 3 new classrooms would be set up. Registration for secondary school had been started. The constitution and regulations were posted. CKT - Kamloops - a name list of donors for 1946 expenses. CKT Van. - executive list for 1947. 11 executives, 2 executive directors > Wong Kong Har Tong Realty Development Co. Ltd - Van - announced on Jan. 4 the furniture for bidding from Jan. 4-11. - executive list; 7 executives; 1 regular executive ( ) CKT H.Q. announced on Dec. 18/46 the decision made by the 12th General Convention of CKT in China. The announcement was about annual donations/fees. All members were urged to hand in the fees.
