Description: A Chinese grocery owner was fined for breaking the sugar ration regulations. An announcement from the Kung Jai (or The Bonds) Association stated that the "Double Ten Contribution" campaign will be held from September 26 to Oct. 31. Every Chinese shall contribute no less than CH $100 (i.e. $6 Can.) is the decision made in a meeting of the functionaries of the association.
