Description
1) In recent years, there are disputes among Chinese organizations in Vancouver. This has certain negative effects on raising funds to help win the resistance war. Consul General Sher Chao-ying had convened a meeting shortly after he arrived here. The purpose was to organize a united body to raise funds. It was decided that CBA, Resisting Ass'n, Bonds Ass'n, KMT and Chee Kong Tong should work in that direction. Sher convened another meeting on May 15 to discuss the matter. The next meeting will be on June 7th. 2) Hu Hsiu-lin celebrated his sixtieth birthday yesterday. He saved CH$1,000 from the celebrationfor refugee relief.
