Description
The funeral of the known Lo Tien-Yu, of Pan Yu sub_, who devoted many years of his life to education. Some hundreds of people and fifty procession cars joined the funeral procession. The RCMP warned the Japanese that it has been ruled that, in the Pacific Defence Area, no Japanese is to be seen outdoors after dark. ( ): The Resisting Ass'n staged movies to raise funds. Group fighting of Chinese in Victoria: Chang Liang, member of the Long Kang Ass'n, fought with Ah Hua of the Zen He Ass'n ( ). Later, members' of the two associations wereinvolved. They were dispersed by the police.
