Description: - New Westminster: The National Salvation Association sent soldiers consoling fund of $915 they raised to China. In their third annual fund raising campaign, the vegetables and fruit retailers have raised $2620 for wounded soldiers and refugees. (They provide the vegetable and fruit sr for sale and use the total revenue for relief purposes.) Five Chinese were fined and were sentenced to jail for violating the opium Act.
