- Nov. 11 - The Westerners 1 ' (>^^»i$[ ^ ) wrote to the CBA saying that their organization was trying to raise money to support Canada's involvement in the 2nd World War. Since the Chinese Clinic was a branch of their organization and CBA used to have good relations with their organization, they expect the CBA and the Chinese Clinic under the CBA to raise no less than $3500. - Chung-shanese raised refugee relief funds for the Chung-shanese in China. - The delegates to the Freemasons Convention toured Victoria after the convention ended yesterday. .
