Description

Meeting of the Resistigg Ass. was chairman of the meeting. The main issue discussed was the struggle between Chinese Resisting Associations in Lethbridge and in Calgary. (Among the 220 Chinese in Lethbridge, 179 attended the meeting conducted by the Counc-ellor and Foon Sien on the 4th and 99 insisted on not joining the United Resisting Ass., while other 52 insisted on joining it. The solution was to let the 52 join the United Resisting Ass. and let the 99 jh form their own association.) Hong Chow Association will give X $600 to those who know and tell the murderer of Hu De. Shar Do Mutual Society will give him $500. The Hu's Thou an fang ( £Jc. & ) will give him $1000. So the total prize is $2200.
