March 9 - Kamloops: Two Chinese, J)en Sung ( ) and Xu Da-yi ( ^c^. ) refused to make any contribution or to buy any bonds. The Resisting Association has publicly announced to sever relationships with them. Den Sung knew that he was wrong. He came to the Association and made his contribution. But the later, Xu Da-yi was so stubborn that he not only refused to make any contribution whatsoever, he also abused the people who tried to convince him. He abused the Resisting Association also. He annoyed so many people that toe was punished (was beaten, presumably) and was sent to the local police station to be jailed.
