January 31- 20 Chinese were arrested for gambling. ( ^^j^ was ra^sec^ t^ie movis presentation, sponsored by the Resisting Ass. and the Medical Aid to China Ass. - Regina: A meeting was convened by the Resisting Ass. $7000 Gold Bonds was sold in their first phase Bond selling campaign. $1700 Relief Fund was raised. In the seoond phase (from Jan.l to the end of June), every Chinese has to buy a minimum of $10 gold bonds and $1 relief fund contribution. Those who have an income over $50 shall buy at least $15 gold bonds in the second phase. About twenty Chinese failed to make their contributions, and shall be punished.
