December 8 - The Chinese said many Canadians had asked them to tell the Chinese store and goods to make special marks or signs on them to facilitate those who do not want to buy Japaneseproducts but could not read either Japanese or Chinese. - Meeting of functionaires of the Bonds Association. The members of the Association decided to finish their work by the 24th. The Patriotic Bonds, the Gold Bonds, and the Refugee Relief will all be stopped by then and all the transactions cleared. - The Resisting Ass. used loud-speakers to help raising funds, selling bonds, and announcing news. - New functionaries elected into the Dart Conn Club in Victoria.
