- November 9 - Article: The Lost of Canchow - Su Pei ( f-^ ) - The article waid the 'easy losir to the Japanese1 of Canchow City was a shock to Overseas Chinese and caused much grief amonth them. Those who are responsible should be punished. - A Chinese pimp was sentenced to serve 9 months in jail. - Bonds Ass. in Victoria meets and decides to send a telegram to the central gov ernment on the loss of Canchow to the Japanese. - Regina: The Resisting Ass. was able to sell $3000 of Gold Bonds (Bonds issued by Nanking, rather than Chung king, government using U.S. currency as units of measurement) within the first few days of their campaign, despite the sorrow and resentment caused by the loss of Canchow.
