Sept. 20 - Meeting of the Yue-san Chinese. - Trial of the five Chinese who were arrested for opium trading. - The City Council agreed to propose to the Provincial Government to set up a rule saying the government has the right to set limits on issuing permits to East Asians in any business. The only woman member of the Council tried like mad to oppose the resolution with no avail. - A translation o th letter written by Foon Sien to Canadians. 106 thousands of copies were made by the CBA and would be sent out to other Canadians.
