Another member of the CCF proposed to demand under the name of the United Public meeting the Canadian Government stop selling military supplies and raw materials to Japan.' Nanaimo: A Chinese Youth was arrested for opium holding. Dec. 22-23 - Editorial: On Liu's speeches. Liu is a Toysunese, member of the central executive committee, special representative to COftfolg Overseas Chinese and to sell Patriotic Bonds. A summary of his speech: "The governmet keeps developing our motherland. Agricultural products increased. Factories, railroads, and highways are all increasing. Development takes time. The Japanese burglars, however, are not willing to see a well developed China. Though Jpanese military forces are strong, their resources are limited. With the cooperation of all the Chinese, overseas and otherwise, the ultimate victory is ours.".
