- Dec. 14 - CheeKong Tong ( ^£j%.*ijP ) welcomes Liu. Again Liu moved the Freemasons with his speech. Vancouver Chinese Youth Ass. had a meeting. They formed a special team to investigate whether it is true that there are people using Youth Ass.'s name to collect money for themselves. A Chinese was robbed of $17.00. A member of the City council, Wilson, proposed to the City Council that the act that permits 100 Japanese women to immigrate into Canada should be changed. He said that the Japanese Government had a policy to encourage Japanese women to come to B.C. and to bear as many children as they can. Toronto: The Freemasons welcomed Dr. Tau, the famous proponent of Resisting the Japanese, and he gave lectures an the war.
