Description: Dec. 3 - Nanaimo: The Resisting Ass. raised $4,700 (not sure whether its $ 8 Chinese attended the Democratic Conference for Peace in Ottawa. Liu represents the Chinese in Victoria and Vancouver proposed the following resul-utions: 1. ask the Canadian Government to stop shipping raw mateial for making weapons to Japan. 2. All Japanese goods should be labelled "made in Japan". 3. The members of the organization which has delegates to the conference shall boycot Japanese goods. 4. The Democratic Ass. may try to raise funds to help China. 5. Ask the Canadian Government to ease the strict regulations against Chinese immigrants. 6. All the Chinese who have British Citizenship shall be endowed with electorate rights. All resolutions were passed by the conference. or $CH, the Chinese term is.
