The waitresses (whites) in two Chinese restaurants get fired. * ^ JL ^ $1500 was raised in a meeting of the Resisting Ass. and afterwards. $1200 will be usd to buy military supplies, $300 to be used for refugee relieving. * t'Ht ^^^h Quebec> Tne Resisting Ass. was founded at the Chinese Club on 12. $CH 3,000 was raised. * An announcement from Resisting Fund Raising Ass. in ( ) states that Barkville, ( *W ) and they altogether have raised and sent back $1,220 to the Central Government. * An announcement from Resisting Fund Rasising Ass. in ) states that they have sent the $1,896 they raised to the Bank of China in N.Y.
