August 24 - *Chineese Vegetable Retailers Asso. in Vancouver (yjjf^K^^^ ^ organized a fund raising team to raise funds from the members. The sum was given to the Headquarters of Raising the Military Funds. *Kamloops: The Resisting Association in Kamloops ( ^k. Q ) continues, their fund raising. *Regina: The Resisting Association ( & ^ ) held a general meeting of the Chinese in Kelowna. In the meeting, 10,000 Chinese dollars were raised. Li donated his one month pay of $40.00 (^ffl ^% )• *Calgary: More than 10,000 Chinese dollars hve been raised.
