July 31 - Editorial: an announcement to resist the Japanese - by the Chinese Constitutional Party ( ), Headquarter for Eastern America. "Our party has been strongly rejecting the strategy of non-resistance and has urged for a united resistance against the Japanese invasion. In responding to the call of the Nanking government for "all the Chinese in and out of the country to be the backbone of the government", we urge the government to declare war with Japan immediately, to free all the political prisoners, to re-endow people the right to resist the Japanese, to unite all parties to fight the war. Then, we swear not only to back the government, but also to stand right in the front of the war.".
