Description: July 15 - The functionaries of the CBA met yesterday. Four things were discussed: 1) the method and commission on collecting the 'deport fee1 2) Hiring a new regular doctor of the Chinese Hospital. 3) Continuing the fund raising campaign to rescue the refugees (of the famine in Schuchan and Kwai Chow) 4) Telegraming the Nationalist government urging them to send out an army to fight the Japanese immediately: "The Japanese invasion is becoming more and more emergent as days go by. Please order general mobilisation to gifckfc fight the Japanese and to recover the land lost. This organization will lead all the Overseas Chinese in backing the government.".
