He had been detained. 3.New admission policy of UBC. News from Other Cities 1.San Francisco: The head consul of New York, Hung ***, has been promoted to the position of ambassador. The vacant position will be filled by chief consul of San Francisco, Chang ***. Chang’s position will be filled by Yu ***, of ***. 2.Harvard, USA: CKT election. 3.Victoria: a.Chinese, Li So, was prosecuted for exposing himself. He was sentenced to one month of hard labour. b.Li Ming was prosecuted for possessing opium. He will be tried on March 27. c.Chinese, Jimmy, was prosecuted for operating a whole house. He was fined $15.
